Robert Louis Stevenson
This series of embroidered illustrations are inspired by childhood memories of endless summer wanderings and incorporate small extracts of the poetry of Robert Louis Stevenson.
This piece features a hand-embroidered illustration of a cheery golden plaited young girl on white linen/cotton mix.
The line of poetry has also been hand embroidered and the illustration has been embellished with floral cotton,lace trim,silk ribbon bows and a vintage mother of pearl button.
Mounted in a beech coloured wooden embroidery hoop,it has been backed with beige wool mix felt and is ready to 'pretty' any wall or cosy shelf.
Measures approx 7"(18cm) across and comes gift wrapped so all ready to give as gift (or simply keep for yourself)
