Full description
These coasters are made from reclaimed wall tiles. The tiles have been painted with acrylic paint, decoupaged with vintage 1979 Star Wars comic strip, sealed and then coated with numerous layers of sprayed Polyurthane varnish to make the coasters more durable and they wipe clean.The bottom of the coasters have been corked.

My work is not intended to be looked at as 'official merchandise' . All the comics I use are original and no copies have been made. This item is a piece of altered art that pays homage to each comic book that I save.
