Full description
This pendant bead is made with very tough borosilicate glass (pyrex) and has a flower formed of coloured light turquoise blue, and a pale semi-translucent orange/red-white. At the tip is translucent deep purple, (which is hard to see in these pictures as it blends into the background) In the very centre is a tiny stretched bubble that the flower forms around. The bead is about 14mm at the maximum width and 40mm tall.
This has been made by a technique called lampworking, it is completely handformed and the technique I use means these flower beads are always different and individual - the one you see here is the one you get. It has been annealed for toughness in a digital controlled kiln.
This would make an ideal pendant on its own, or as a focal bead for your own creations. I can add a leather thong necklace if required.
