One pair of lightweight earrings featuring origami stars printed with the heart mantra in Kanji script, accented with orange glass sead beads.
The Dalai Lama has translated the Heart Sutra into English:
"Go, go, go beyond, go thoroughly beyond, and establish yourself in enlightenment."
Paper is the traditional gift for a first wedding anniversary so this would make an ideal and unique present.
The total length of the earring (from the bottom of the silver plated earring wire) is 3cm.
I made the stars from strips of paper which I then coated with 3 layers of PVA glue. The stars are spashproof but should not be immersed in water.
All origami earrings are supplied with a handmade origami gift box.
