The yarn! I love this chunky blue cotton yarn, and it contrasts really well with the smooth green merino.

Full description
I really like this one, it feels a bit smarter and more sophisticated than some of my other bags. It has a very similar shape to some of the others, but has a simple but effective flap and single short strap.
The blue part of this bag is knitted in my favourite 100% cotton Araucania yarn, which has a lovely slubby texture. The flap and strap are crocheted using Debbie Bliss Rialto Aran yarn which is a really soft 100% merino, in a soft olive green. The flap has a tassel made of both yarns and a sparkly button. I have recycled an old 100% cotton shirt of my husband’s for the green check lining.
The bag is 28cm wide at the bottom, and 18cm wide at the top. The strap is 28cm long but will stretch with use
