This memory stick is my take on a Gothic style. It's made from a piece of oak and it measures around 2 1/2" long x 7/8" x 1/2". It's attached to a length of brown suede leather thong long enough to go around the neck. The decorative nail heads were handmade by an Amish blacksmith in Canada!

I do favour a finish that allows the ‘treeness’ of the material to show through rather than a glossy varnish and most of what I have on sale feature an oil and hard wax finish. As this memory stick is somewhat chunkier than the standard plasticky version, I'll provide a short USB extension lead with it.

I'm told 32 GB will accept anything between 10,000 and 25,000 photographs depending on quality settings. Or 6,000 MP3s. Why not give one as a gift with a 'family album already loaded!

It’s worth remembering that wood is the traditional gift for a fifth wedding anniversary, as well as being the modern gift for a sixth wedding anniversary! Why not give one of these?
