Full description
This is a lovely, vintage, freestanding bookcase or shelf unit, although it could be adapted for wall use by adding simple brackets. It is heavy though!
It is "backless".
Has the usual dings and scratches of age but is solid and sturdy!!
Has four shelf surfaces in total.
It no longer appears to have the facility of adjustable shelf levels as it seems the shelves have been fixed in place now.
Handpainted in Teresa's Green by F&B, a pale robin's egg blue/green, it has been lightly distressed and waxed.
Lots of 1950s retro red rose decals of differing sizes have been applied to the top arch, all shelves, vertical edges and the sides too.
The piece has been sealed for protection and durability.
Very versatile and could be used in the home for many purposes.
