Love Bowl is part of a growing range of tableware that has been inspired by the dramatic stormy hues of the English coast.
I created this bowl on my potter's wheel using a stoneware clay, then altered the rim to form a heart. I've also added a decorative strap on the side. This is a lovely bowl to hold as the strap enables you to slip your thumb through and hold the bowl safely using one hand. The fired bowl was then dipped in several glazes creating this unique atmospheric scene.
A useful bowl for cereal and soup or as a sharing bowl of nibbles
