This is a stunning link necklace made using Picture Jasper semi-precious gemstones, Old Palm Wood and bronze coloured jewellery wire. The Picture Jasper is a beautiful stone, each one different to the next and has a really smooth feel to it. There are spirals and wrapped stones which I have hand made, the old palm wood rounds are a great contrast along with copper seed beads which add an extra element. The necklace has a very organic feel to it.
The necklace measures approximately 24", , and fastens with a decorative leaf toggle clasp.
For those interested in gemstones, Jasper is a mineral formed overthousands of years by sediment or ash, the wonderful patterns within Picture Jasper have been made by water or wind creating what look like pictures within the mineral.
For those interested in the healing properties of gemstones, Picture Jasper is believed to stimulate the immune system, to help clear pollutants and toxins from the body, and to cleanse the kidneys.
There are matching earrings available too, sold seperately.
For multiple purchases I always combine postage and refund any difference over 50p through Paypal.
