Shiver me timbers - it's all paws on deck for this little guy! Ship's Cat doorstop is inspired by vintage milk bottles. He's made from end-of-roll hessian mix in mushroom, with a thin blue stripe; deckchair stripe cotton base, with gingham trim; eye patch and ears from recycled felt (made from old plastic bottles); odd button eyes from vintage buttons (one plastic, one shell); hand embroidered face detail, appliqued Mast Dairy milk bottle lable; vintage leather toggle detail; chain stitched by hand with Ship's Cat; rustic string loop handle; stuffed with fibre I was lucky enough to buy at my local St Barnabas charity shop; weighted with dried rice; stands about 28cm high.
