Full description
This one of a kind seaglass pendant is made from ship wrecked glass collected from the island of Islay, the Queen of the Hebrides in Scotland.
The glass piece itself has been tumbled for decades, it being originally aboard the vessel - "Henry Clay" which sank in a small bay to the south west of Port Charlotte in1861. Nature continues to bring this beautiful seaglass ashore, all smoothed out by the sea and wonderfully tactile.
Every so often, you are lucky enough to find a piece that resembles a heart or a raindrop. This one is a lovely pear teardrop shape, the colour of seafoam and is 20mm x 12mm. It has been carefully drilled by hand and now sits on a sterling silver leaf bail and sterling silver 18 inch chain.
Comes complete with handprinted Wist Wagon gift box and handmade gift tag.
