Full description
This one of a kind sea tumbled pendant is made from ship wrecked pottery collected from the island of Islay, the Queen of the Hebrides in Scotland.
The pottery piece itself has been tumbled for decades, it being originally aboard the vessel - "Henry Clay" which sank in a small bay to the south west of Port Charlotte in1861. Nature continues to bring these beautiful pottery shards ashore, all smoothed out by the sea and wonderfully tactile.
Every so often, you are lucky enough to find a piece that resembles a heart or a raindrop. This one has lovely hand painted blue detail and is 17mm x 12mm. It has been carefully drilled by hand and now sits on a silver plated (nickel free, lead free) 18 inch chain with a bright freshwater pearl for company.
Comes complete with handprinted Wist Wagon gift box and handmade gift tag.
