Cardinal - Red Feather embroidered gooco printed cotton brooch... wearable art!
Beautiful gocco printed red feather from my original drawing which I translated to a gocco screen and printed on 100% cotton. The feather was then appliquéd on to a felt disc and ribbon and button embellishments were added.
Brooch is made from 2 felt ovals with interfacing sandwiched between them to strengthen and stiffen the brooch. It fastens with a sturdy safety pin which has been sewn securely to the back.
Measures 2.25" in diameter
This beautiful brooch looks great on a denim jacket or would look fantastic pinned on a plain bag as decoration.
