A gorgeous brass dragonfly on a dark teal tagua nut pendant, hanging from a fantastically chunky bronze chain.
The tagua nut comes from the tree of the same name growing deep in the Amazon rain forest. It produces a fruit with a large seed which is very much like ivory and is dyed and used to make jewellery, buttons and carved objects. This supports the employment of indeginous people as well as providing a sustainable alternative to ivory. As a natural product, each tagua slice will be unique.
The chain fastens with a lobster clasp and hangs at approx 28cm; the chain is approx 47.5cm long, the pendant is approx 4.5cm in length.
