I am pleased to list my latest crochet pattern on Folksy, so that you can crochet your own cute cupcakes.
The pattern instructions are for the simple, basic cake, crocheted from the bottom up, plus six different toppings so that you can mix and match and create your own mini masterpiece - as simple or extravagant as you like.
The pattern uses double knitting yarn with a 3.5mm hook
You will need to know how to
chain
slip stitch
double crochet (US single crochet)
treble crochet (US double crochet)
increase and decrease
The patterns recommends a magic loop to start, but don't worry if you can't do this - you can start by making 2 chain, and working into the first chain.
The pattern also includes instructions on how to make up the four cakes in the pictures.
I have written a US version and a UK version of the pattern.
