Full description
I have made this unique brooch by sewing a variety of pink, grey and mother-of-pearl vintage, second-hand and contemporary buttons onto pink eco-spun felt, (polyester made from recycled post-consumer plastic bottles). The buttons have been sewn on using a pink metallic embroidery thread and the edge of the brooch is finished with a simple blanket stitch in pink metallic embroidery thread. The brooch is backed with bright red felt and has a silver-toned brooch attachment which is safely secured to ensure longevity. This brooch also features pearl, chain and leaf charm.
Measurements: Approximately 6cm high by 4cm wide (at its’ widest points).
This is a one-of-a-kind piece.
