Full description
The pretty grey stone on this necklace is labradorite. Eskimo legend says that the Northern Lights were once imprisoned in the rocks along the Labrador coast. One day an eskimo warrior broke the ice with one hard blow from his spear. Not all the light was able to escape, so that is why today we have labradorite. You can see how this legend came about - the stone is irredecent, it seems to shine from within. On top of this, the stone on this necklace is faceted, so it catches the light beautifully.
The red coin is rhodochrosite. Sometimes called 'The stone of love and balance', this is thought to stimulate warm feelings of love and compassion.
The third bead is a purple Moukaite - for inner strength and good health.
The three stones are gathered on a sterling silver ring, and this hangs from a 45cm sterling chain.
