Full description

£2 Sale This is a listing for 1 limited edition print on a beautiful book page with the title "The Circuit of the Titmice". This is a limited run of 8 prints on these pages as the chapter was only 8 pages long.

I found this gorgeous book hidden away in a box at the very back of a charity shop entitled "Why Birds Sing by Jacques Delamain" this chapter details the migration and habits of the Titmice.

This handmade screen print features a cheeky tufted titmouse. The Tufted Titmouse, Baeolophus bicolor, is a small songbird from North America, a species in the tit and chickadee family.

They forage actively on branches, sometimes on the ground, mainly eating insects, especially caterpillars, but also seeds, nuts and berries. They will store food for later use. Tufted titmice tend to be curious about their human neighbours and can sometimes be spotted on window ledges peering into the windows to watch what's going on inside.

Please Note: Listing is for print only and does not include frame or any other items in the pictures
