Full description
Amelie was found under an ancient oak tree, deep in the woods one hot afternoon in July. Ottoline carried her home and spent the evening into the night stitching and sewing and stuffing until Amelie was back to her former glory, if not better. Amelie's bodice is made from peach dupion silk, trimmed with antique French lace and buttons. Her removable tutu is hand dyed tulle and fastens with an antique French button. She balances on a stand made from antique French brocade decorated with an old wooden button. Her arms are wired and she is stuffed with polyester and has wooden supports in her little legs. Amelie is a decorative mouse and not intended to be a toy.
