I rescue used and abused cycle chain destined for landfill and clean and polish it until it gleams like new, then finish it to my own registered design using a recycled brake cable to create this unique keyring.
The bottom link acts as a cam, gripping the cable in place so it won't slip out. To thread or remove keys from the cable, lift up the cam link and slide the cable out.
Simple, effective, beautiful and tactile - every one is unique.
Note it is a recycled item - each piece is lovingly cleaned and polished 'til it's shiny fresh, but sometimes tiny pits and marks remain (cycle chain leads a tough life). The design is exactly as in the picture, but the chain may vary (kmc, sram, shimano or other brand)
