Dearest Scribbler,
I am delighted to present to you my latest creation, 'The Purple One'.
Not for the faint at heart, this hardback journal is packed with 200 blank pages of 75g writing paper.
Made using tradtitional bookbinding techniques, all the sections are cut, assembled and stitched by hand.
The front cover is made up from small remnant pieces of patchwork fabrics, which once arranged satisfactorily, are sewn with a machine zig zag stitch in black thread.
The book lining is of cotton fabric, purple in colour complimentary to the front patchwork piece.
A hand embroidered running stitch around the edges adds the finishing touch to the completed hand crafted book.
Measurements: approx 15cm x 12cm (depth 3.5cm)
