An original LittleBirdHouse mini canvas based on the traditional Irish wedding blessing 'As light to the eye'. Features the words to the vow, ' As light to the eye, as bread to the hungry, as joy to the heart may thy prescence be to me, Here is my hand to hold with you - to bind us for life and grow old with you'. Embellised with handsewn tiny cream and glass seed beads, sequins, a textured brad and opaque button. Paper media mixed with fabrics, stitches and candle wax. A beautiful little keepsake or wedding gift, or even promise of eternal love.
