Full description
Made from a collection of hand stitched and machine sewn images, this picture is an eclectic mix with tiny detail that has appealed to me, including a piece of an old map with the the curious name of "Nempnett Thrubwell'. Fragments of printed cotton are stitched alongside linen pieces decorated with birds and a girl in a flowery dress. The whole piece is then stitched and mounted on to a fine piece of vintage pillowcase.
The frame continues the countryside theme with an image of a foxglove and dragonfly decoupaged to the frame. The picture is signed.
