Hand painted owl sitting on an old fashioned bicycle.
The bicycle is printed with ink.
This is an original mixed media work on a book page from a world-famous novel Lorna Doone, printed in 1873. My vintage book pages occasionally have small beauty-marks, worn-out edges, grainy paper, or little creases, gained through the ages, but these only add to the antique charm of the art-work.
Brilliant gift idea.
Can be mounted on an A4 card or framed on its own in a vintage or contrasting modern frame. Looks perfect in any type of interior!
YOU WILL RECEIVE another page from the same book. Tiny variations may occur due to hand-painting ...and obviously different bacground text. Signed and dated by me.
Frame or mat are not included.
Shipped in a waterproof sleeve and a sturdy hard back envelope, directly from my London home studio.
