Full description
This lovely little pot was thrown on the wheel as an enclosed form. The lid was cut out by hand, and the three bun feet and knob for the lid were modelled and added separately. The decoration uses coloured engobes and a transparent glaze to bring out the colours.
It has been fired to well over 1200 degrees centigrade so it's completely non-porous.
It measures approx. 10 cms wide by 9 cms tall.
I have tried to photograph the piece as accurately as possible, but please bear in mind that colours may vary slightly when viewed in different lighting conditions.
