When I look at this yarn I see Liquorice Allsorts, not the whole box mind, just my favourite bobbly ones. The steely grey aniseed centre and the blue bobbles on the outside. Yummy!
Right, back to the yarn. It's 100% Merino and although it is a superwash yarn if you want to use your machine, I'd recommend only a gentle wash on any hand dyed yarns. Each skein is 100g around 400m which is more than enough to knit into an adult pair of socks or it'd work well in any 4ply pattern.
