Scottish Highlands III

This is part of a new series of ACEOs painted in my studio in Edinburgh, based upon extensive drawing and painting studies of the Scottish landscape. These are really miniature versions of my larger acrylic and oil landscape works.
This particular piece is based upon my many paintings and studies of the Argyll coastline, particularly from the Isle of Arran. It is highly abstracted but recognizably part of the Argyll coastline.
