Full description

Original hand painting on authentic 1873 book page.

I price my items depending on how much time I spend making them, that is why this one is a bit pricier than the prints, where printer does the work.

You will receive exactly the same painting as you see in the photos.

The paper may show little signs of it's age, e.g. light "beauty marks", worn-out edges or irregularities in the paper itsef, but these only add to it's vintage charm.

Size approx: 6.7" x 9.5" (17 x 23.5 cm)

Perfect matted or simply mounted on any A4 (letter size) card and then put into a standardized A4 frame. You can also put it into a smaller frame just as is.

Shipped next working day in a protective sleeve and a hard back envelope.

PS: The stain on the top edge is most likely something over 100-years old drop of wax. (So that you can imagine why it's there I must tell you that the back binding of the book is slightly burned! ...the candle finished off and must have leaked over the book. Who knows what the reader was doing? Fell asleep? Left the room? Did Beatrice almost burn the book? ...she was the first owner to whom the book was dedicated for her 21-st birthday in 1873)
