I can make you a wonderful picture of your dearest pet in glasses (colour of your choice; I can suggest what would suit him/her the most) on a page from the British Journal for The History of Science. It will be a mixed media art work containing a lot of hand painting with acrylic paint and ink print, all directly on the vintage paper from 1960's.

These pictures look perfect in virtually any kind of frame.
Page size: 6.7" x 9.75" (17 x 24.5 cm)
There is still some blank edge left for trimming into a smaller frame. You can also simply mat / mount it over an A4 paper as is, get a standardised A4 frame - and here you go: you've got an inexpensive but very effective piece of art hanging on the wall!
