Full description
A small, needle-felted panel depicting pretty cottages above the harbour,embroidered with gorse bushes, sea pink, and a moored boat!
Merino, and other wools, combined with mohair and silk fibres, have been needle felted to create a miniature background. The flowers, and other details, are worked in embroidery threads using simple stitches.
The back of the brooch has been neatened with commercial felt. It has been stiffened by a layer of interfacing. A brooch pin is securely stitched in place.
