As the background for these unique brooches the felt i have used is made from recycled, vintage cream Merino wool blankets and Vintage Scottish and Irish 100% wool plaid blankets
Each of the brooches are unique as no two fat cats are exactly the same, they have been individually needle felted with a mixture of different types of wool rovings, finished off with cute little wooden cat faces ,
The idea behind my range of Fat Cats came from seeing my rather plump Tabby Tortie lying curled up on the rug in front of the fire, it doesn't matter if the fire is on or not she just knows it will be turned on sometime so she is staking her claim to a front row seat,
they would look very sweet on a coat, sweater, hat or bag,
approx size 2.1/2"x2" with a firmly glued and sewn brooch bar at the back.
