Full description
My subject matter was time passing by, I looked at the world around us and the bustling cities of England.
This piece is reflective of Big Ben, inspiration was taking from London and I wanted to express this within this simple piece.
The clock is designed to be the main focal point surrounded by pattern inspired from lace in modern colours.
It is a mixed media piece with sections of fabric and patterned papers sewn in using free hand embroidery.
This piece is unique and quite small in size at 12" by 9" approximately. The embroidery is onto canvas and then stretched on the wooden frame.
