Whitstable Mermaid dolls are all one-offs - they like to be different so each doll is totally original and no two are the same!
This doll is made of new and recycled cotton fabrics and has thick beige wool hair and a handstitched face. She is wearing a tie on bikini top. Her stuffing is polyester non-allergenic fibre filling and she is approximately 43cm high.
She comes with her own handmade bag, genunine whitstable seashells and a naming certificate which has the following words:
"My name is ...(left blank for you to fill in)
I am a genuine Whitstable Mermaid, created in Whitstable, Kent.
You have been chosen to be my guardian and to look after me, hug me, play with me and care for me.
As I have been handmade, I do have to be looked after very carefully and am not really suitable for little ones under 3 years old or for very rough play.
I cannot go in the washing machine, it would make me far too dizzy, but you can sponge wash me if I get a bit dirty.
I am really looking forward to joining you on lots of adventures!"
