Full description
This scarf is handmade from scratch. The scarf is cut from a huge length of cream silk organza, the edges are delicately hand sewn and then I lino print the design onto the silk using fabric paint which once ironed is washable to 40c. The lino prints are made using lino blocks that I have designed and carved myself. The scarf is then embellished with beautiful bead fringing, once again, hand sewn.
This is a completely unique item, no two scarves are the same as I mix the paints for each scarf at the printing stage and fringing is always different.
The scarf is approximately 115cm long not including the beaded fringing and approx 18cm wide.
