Girl Annual Bookbag
What a Novel Idea! The Shabby Cows are continuing to make cool stuff from old stuff. A truly unique handbag created from a vintage Girl Annual (Number Six). The Girl Annual is from the 1950's and the recycled fabric that forms the interior of the bag has that same feel with vibrant red, white and black design. The handbag measures approximately 25.6cm x 20.5cm and is completed with new matching handles. The spine of the book has been cleverly extended using old book board and recycled fabric to form the base of the handbag which measures around 6cm wide. The fabric closure which contains a concealed magnet is adorned with a vintage jewellery piece and a large black button. The magnet is attracted to a penny (for good luck) affixed to the outside of the handbag There is a generous fabric pocket to the interior measuring 18cm x 16cm.
A Unique handbag that will be subject to admiration and possible envy!
