As I was having a whole 'lotta' fun sewing the other day I somehow found myself sorting through my buttons. Now you should understand that button sorting is a favourite pastime of mine and I need no excuses. It gives me immense pleasure to sort them into their individual jewel like colours, their various shapes, sizes, whether they have two holes or four....... Maybe it's because I'm a control freak or possibly that sometimes I'm a Teaching Assistant- buttons are an excellent educational tool as well you know!
Anyway (my rambling is now over) this gave me an idea, hence button bags but not just in one colour- six!

Each bag contains a mixed variety of buttons- they will vary in colour, shade, tone, size, whether they have two holes or four or a shank. They are all round.
These buttons are a lovely quality and I use them myself in my sewing projects. They are excellent for embellishing bags, brooch and badge making. They are also bright and cheery for the classroom, you could use them them for card making or for counting, adding, taking away, comparing big and little, identifying colour, discussing..........
