Full description
A lovely drop spindle, ideal for having a go at spinning or spinning on the go.
The spindle is made from a weight and shaft made of birch with a metal hook. After assembly the spindle is sealed with a wood sealer then finished with a beeswax balsam.
The weight on this spindle has a spoked design.
Aproximate dimensions:
Length- 310mm
Hook- 19mm diameter
Shaft diameter- 9.5mm
Weight diameter- 70mm
Weight- 36g (1.3oz)
Please note that the weight is not hand turned but the spindle is hand made. .
