This is an Example of a custom piece.
Imagine a piece like this but with any content that is special to you, literature, lyrics, quotes, maps or anything you require.
Please note: this exact piece has sold, these pieces are one of a kind and I am currently snipping a new version. The next piece will look very similar other than the content of the text. I'll add new pics very soon!
I can't get enough of symmetry and detail.
The butterfly art really works for me, from a distance it's one thing, then close up, it's another. I choose text that means something to me, in this case it's about enduring love.
Each Butterfly contains passionate poetry from the great romantics, first, Robert Burns and second, William Blake. The butterfly text is painstakingly chosen, hand cut, hand sewn and attached.
The piece comes in a petite black wood shadow box measuring 21cm x 16cm which can be either freestanding or hung.
I completely welcome custom projects and will source any book, quote, map, image or anything you require.
