This is an Example of a custom piece.
Imagine a piece like this but with any content that is special to you.
I can't get enough of symmetry and detail.
The butterfly art really works for me, from a distance it's one thing, then close up, it's another. If I can add a bit of naughtiness into the detail then I will.
In this example each Butterfly is made up from various OS maps significant to the buyer, specifically they are the areas she has lived throughout her life. The butterfly maps are painstakingly chosen (to the exact street), hand cut, hand sewn and attached.
The piece comes in a white wood shadow box measuring 33cm x 24cm (outer dimensions of the frame) which can be either freestanding or hung.
I completely welcome custom projects, think about locations that are special to you, places you have lived, your honeymoon destination, places you love. I will source books, maps, lyrics, quotes or anything you require,
