Handmade stoneware ceramic bowl with melted green glass
Approximate diameter 9.5 cm 4 cm high
These cute little bowls where pinched each from a single ball of clay, shaped and smoothed and then fired with recycled glass melted in the base.
Would make an attractive feature displayed on its own or in a cluster with other coloured bowls. Equally good for holding a tea light or jewellery or trinkets.
The striking green glass has pooled in the base and though appears fractured and shattered is smooth to the touch. The rest of the clay has been left unglazed to add to the dual texture of the piece.
