Full description
Sari silk remnant ribbons. 100g mixed colours and weights. They are NOT knotted/sewn together as a yarn.
As a felter I use the light/medium weight ribbons in my work; felted in as surface embellishment - please see photo. They are also fantastic for rug hooking & peg loom weaving. I've also heard of people using them for spinning, knitting & crochet, (you would need big needles/hook for this- maybe 15mm). They are great for adding character & texture to a project.
The photo is an example of 100g of the ribbons - each 100g is different. I try to ensure that each bag has a mixture of different weight ribbons, and light & dark, bright & muted colours.
I do have more ribbons available, that I can list for you if you would like more - please feel free to email me.
From a smoke free home. Sari ribbons do have a slight odour, this washes out, also lessens with airing.
If you require insured/recorded please contact me, that will however cost a little more. If you wish to use 2nd class email me and I will amend the listing for you.
