”day of the thread” – applique and embroidered zombies picture
following on from “dawn of the thread”, this picture features a group of nasty and insanely terrifying zombies, munching on brains, against a bright turquoise sky.
these zombies are shuffling along in their cotton outfits, which are appliqued onto calico, before being "drawn" on with free machine embroidery. they have googly eyes made out of tiny pale blue beads, and hand embroidered blood and brain matter spills to the floor.
the picture measures approx. 24cm x 18cm, and is mounted on a canvas type frame ready to hang.
this item is one of a kind – there won’t be another quite like it!
