Full description
An Oak leaf, picked fresh from a tree outside my house then lovingly painted with up to ten thin coats of PMC paste, each one being allowed to dry before the next is applied. This process takes from 2 to 4 days, depending on the number of layers.
The leaf is then fired and the real leaf burns off, resulting in a faithful copy made of 99.9% silver, a hole is drilled at one end and a fine silver handmade jumpring added to provide a hanging point.
The size of the leaf is approx. 3.5cm long by 2cm wide.
Every leaf is unique since each one is created from a different real leaf.
