Meerkats don't only live in the Kalahari, you know. Some hail from exotic climes - and this little chap lives and works in sunny Spain.
Jose is a bull fighter by profession, but he is good friends with his little brown bull (actually, I've a feeling she was a cow when I crocheted her) and they are only play fighting. The bull (cow?) is being offered as a free playmate to the first matador to be rehomed.
The matador meerkat wears a smart black and scarlet suit and holds his red cape in one paw ready to ward off the horns of his playmate.
Jose's back legs and tail have been wired to allow him to stand freely in the typical "tripod" stance. He is approximately 7" tall (18cm).
Not suitable for small bullfighters owing to wiring and tiny beads
