I can truly say that this tote bag is one of a kind! It is made from a vintage Sari that I picked up in India last February. I've taken great care to utilise the most beautiful sections. The straps are made from the same border that goes across the top of the bag, and it is fully lined in a different section of silk from the same sari. The turquoise silk is embroidered in luminescent gold thread.
I have also embellished this bag with handmade flowers from the same section as the lining silk. In the centre of the flowers, are vintage and vintage inspired buttons. This is a glamourous and chic way to add ethnic inspiration to your outfit.
Tote measures 12x15 inches.
Straps measure approx 20 inches.
