Full description
This owl pendant features a shard of brown and white pottery, which I found in the Thames.
The owl is hand pierced out of copper, with layered elements, and glass eyes set in fine silver bezel. The pottery shard has been set in a strip of fine silver, and the chain is pure copper wire, handmade by me, link by link...
They have all been oxidised to a rich black, then sealed with jewellers wax to protect the finish.
Dimensions:
Pendant is just over 1 inch wide (2.8 cm), 2 inches tall (5 cm)
Chain is 20.5 inches (52.5 cm)
If you would like a slightly longer or shorter chain, please contact me.
All my items will be sent in a gift box with my logo.
Thanks for looking!
Tania

Most of the pieces of pottery I have found in the river are between 100 and 200 years old, but some are medieval or even Roman! This piece is probably at least 100 years old.
Each piece is unique, and each item made will be one of a kind. I love the fact that each piece of pottery is a little bit of hand made history!
