Full description
This is for TWO long pillar handmade beeswax candles in RED.
Each candle measures (approx) 20cm or 8 inches tall x 3cm or 1 1/4 inches in diameter. The colour shown is of the actual wax - more pictures coming soon.
They will each burn for approximately 8 hours (depending upon external conditions).
My handmade candles are crafted from 100% pure beeswax, which I source directly from bee-keepers. It has an attractive honey comb appearance and shares whispers of a lovely honey-sweetness when burned.
The purity of the wax ensures that there are no synthetic, harmful additives, this helps each candle burn with a steady clear flame without dripping or producing soot.
I store the wax for about a year in my 'cool' room as older wax burns better and cleaner than 'fresher' wax and cut it to roll each candle hand. Every candle is then wrapped in co-ordinating tissue paper - matching the colour of the wax as closely as possible - and then finished with a pure beeswax sticker. This ensures that your candle will remain fresh and lovely and that you can store different colours all next to each other without the risk of 'bleeding', ie the dark and vibrant colours will often transfer to the other lighter colours, spoiling the appearance of your purchase.

The gorgeous colours are achieved through pure organic vegetable dyes and the wicks are lead-free – ie no zinc is used in the centre of the wick.
