City of Love Memory Locket
This absolutely beautiful vintage pocket watch case (with original glass) contains a vintage image of the Eiffel Tower, which I have printed onto fabric and fixed inside the case. Inside the locket are four charms – an image of an old French postcard with the message ‘I Love You’ and the address ‘England’, a sterling silver heart, a purple glass heart and a pewter feather.
Add your own memories and keepsakes to this locket – the back and the front of the case unscrews so the charms can be removed, as well as added to! I would suggest not to unscrew the back as it can be difficult to line up the image of the Eiffel Tower when trying to get it back on!
This locket hangs on a 30 inch bronze chain, with a T-bar clasp. Details include two large hoops linked into the chain. If you would like the chain shortened – please feel free to ask!
All my items are one off - this necklace was made using one of the vintage pocket watch spares I have collected. - I love how interesting and how beautifully crafted they are. I love the idea that they once belonged to someone else - that they all have their own history! The images and text I have used have been sourced from my Grandma's collection of old magazine cuttings.
A lot of my pieces use vintage items. They are all pretty old! - so some may have a few marks and scratches here and there, however they are all in lovely condition. The age of the pieces in some cases may make them slightly more delicate - so just avoid wearing them when exercising etc! :)
