Full description
All our beautiful spatulas are handmade from a range of timbers – beech, ash and sycamore sourced from in and around Sheffield, UK. These are part of our 'Off-Cut' range of products.
As we process timber for furniture making we also inevitably create off-cuts. These are short or narrow pieces of perfectly good timber, and the best use of these up until now has been firewood.
However, we noticed that a significant proportion of these off-cuts are of a size that could be useful, with a bit of imagination. We set them aside for a few weeks and got to thinking about designs.
This ash spatula is carefully crafted to create a simple, comfortable grip and a useful blade. It is around 290mm long, 62mm wide and 6-8mm thick.
The images show examples of our spatula range. What you receive will be randomly chosen from the ash spatulas we have in stock. All our off-cut products are dispatched in biodegradable padded envelopes.
