Full description
This Japanese-inspired fabric was given to me by a good friend and I just LOVE it! With it I decided to make a fabric roll to store knitting needles in, as a travel case or just to have at home in your sewing corner; trust me you will be the envy of all your crafty friends with this unique piece.
It is padded with wadding for a cool embossed look and extra protection for your magic sticks! I chose a bold red floral print for the lining and trimmed it all off with slick black ric-rac. You can store up to 20 sets of needles in this baby, the tops of which will peep just over the edge of the case so you can whip out the pair you need as soon as the inspiration grabs you, without having to undo the ribbon each time.
Don't you just love the button? I self-covered it with vintage Laura Ashley fabric my housemate found in his mum's stash - You can imagine how chuffed I was to get my mitts on it!!!
Anyway, enjoy this parcel of loveliness, I had loads of fun making it!
